Help us to shape the future of Englefield Green Village
Neighbourhood Plan – complete our Questionnaire
We all want to live and work in a nice area.
- Where people feel safe,
- Where traffic, parking and noise doesn’t cause problems,
- Where the buildings look nice and not built against our wishes,
- Where the local shops and pubs thrive,
- Where people can have their say and make a difference
Well, now is your chance to make a difference. Anyone who lives or works in our Area is invited to complete this questionnaire.
Your responses will help us write a Neighbourhood Plan. This will be used by the Council to inform planning policies for the development and use of land in the village and surrounding area over the next ten to fifteen years. This is known as the Englefield Green Village Neighbourhood Forum Area (our Area).
The Plan will include “Our Aspirations”, which will help influence all planning decisions made by the Council or the Government. It will also say where we wish money that the Council sometime gets from big developments (this is called the Community Infrastructure Levy) should be spent to improve our Area.
We won’t be able include all the improvements or ideas that you come up with. This is where they are beyond the control of a Neighbourhood Plan. Examples of this include where the government decide things or where we would break a law.
But we intend to do our best by asking what you think and writing a Plan which most people can support regardless of who they are or where they live in our Area.
We are a group of local people that have come together, with the support of Runnymede Council, to find out what people think and write the Plan. We do not represent any political party, pressure group, sectional interest or business either here or nationally.
You, and each person in your home, are urged to fill in a separate questionnaire. Your voice in our community will be heard by giving us 10 to 15 minutes of your time in taking part.
If you have any questions then please read our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) by clicking here. If you cannot find the answer e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Spare us 10 to 15 minutes to tell us what you think. Don’t delay act today.
